The Teacher

Katie Nesbitt

Katie discovered yoga over 20 years ago as a complement to her athletic pursuits while earning a degree in Sports Psychology. This combination of education and experience sparked her deep appreciation for the mind-body connection.

 

In 2012, Katie began teaching yoga while managing Fortune 100 Corporate Wellness Programs in the U.S. Eventually, she left the corporate world to follow her passion, relocating to Bali to guide others toward optimal well-being through yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic therapy.

 

As a 500-hour E-RYT, Katie offers grounded, creative, and accessible classes tailored to yogis of all levels. Her intelligent sequencing, and compassionate approach inspire strength and expansion in body, mind, and spirit.

 

Katie is also a globally recognized Integrative Somatic Therapy Specialist, dedicated to supporting clients with a history of trauma. She has led numerous yoga teacher trainings worldwide, specializing in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Somatics, and hosts international retreats that empower participants to reconnect with life through yoga, meditation, and a love of travel.

 

Her teachings provide students with practical tools to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being, helping them navigate challenges like stress, grief, addiction, and trauma with greater resilience.
