We believe that a spiritual life is balanced through study (adhyayana), practice (sādhanā) and community (kula). At the AYMC we humbly offer a place for people to study, practice and participate in community.

200HR & 300HR ALCHEMY YOGA TEACHER TRAININGS

Our 200hr & 300hr YTT are rooted in the ancient teachings of non-dual Shaiva Tantra and guided by experienced teachers. The trainings blends alignment, philosophy, meditation, and embodied practices connected to the elements - giving you tools for a lifetime, both on and off the mat. It provides a strong platform to deepen one's practice and teach a distinct and transformative approach of yoga that seamlessly blends ancient wisdom and modern living - a practice that we call Alchemy Yoga.

CONCEPT

At the AYMC we believe in the importance of living in harmony with nature through a balanced spiritual and social life, combined with healthy living and eating. We aim to work with nature by using sustainable building materials and through maintaining a permaculture food forest that helps to supply organic food to the nearby Alchemy Restaurant. In addition to managing our ecological footprint, through our work with the local community, we hope to positively impact the people and culture that inhabit this beautiful Island of the Gods

OUR TEAM

James Sebastiano

James has developed many progressive and real estate projects including Alchemy Restaurant and The Shift Hotel in Ubud. As successful restauran teur and hotelier in Bali, he decided to broaden his skills and produced a documentary called “Chasing The Present” in which he was the catalyst on a subject which seems to be a worldwide issue in the current state, “Anxiety”.

Ashton Szabo

Ashton Szabo has been a life-long practitioner of yoga and the spiritual arts. In his mid-twenties, he went on a six year odyssey across the world to study yoga and mysticism. Living in India, Southeast Asia and South America, he learned from great saints, shamans and yogis. In 2012, he returned to the United States with his family where he has been teaching authentic Kashmiri Shaiva Tantra and Hatha Yoga in ways that are accessible and relevant to the modern practitioner. His teachings invite us into a deep intimacy with the world around and within us, so we can realize the divine in each and every moment of our lives.

Mayara Andrade

After having worked for 8 years as a lawyer in big law firms and financial corporations in Brazil, Mayara moved to Bali in 2017 with the aim of finding a healthier way of working and a more meaningful life. Her background of law and finance brings a lot of value to businesses in Bali - in 2019, for example, she helped to restructure the Alchemy Restaurant, where she is now one of the shareholders.
